Pre-Health Network (“PHN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an online platform designed to facilitate connection, communication, career development, and information exchange among undergraduate students, graduate advisors, practitioners, and admissions officers across health-related fields. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal information obtained from users (“you,” “your,” “Member”) when accessing www.prehealthnetwork.org (the “Website”) or any services, tools, or features offered by PHN (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy and affirm that all information you provide is voluntary. Student information provided to PHN is given freely and directly by the student, meaning the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (“FERPA”) does not apply to PHN’s handling of voluntarily provided data.

  • Academic institution
  • Graduation year or expected graduation date
  • Academic major and professional interests

Because you submit this information voluntarily, and because PHN is not an educational institution receiving records from schools, FERPA does not apply.

  • Not to impersonate another individual or institution
  • Not to engage in harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct
  • Not to use PHN for commercial solicitation unless authorized

By posting or uploading content, you grant PHN a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, or distribute your content for purposes of operating the platform.

Content may include:

PHN does not pre-screen all content but reserves the right to remove material that violates these Terms.

PHN does not provide medical, legal, psychological, academic, or admissions guarantees. Information provided by advisors, practitioners, or admissions officers reflects personal opinion only.

PHN is not liable for decisions made based on advice or content received through the platform.

  • Data scraping or unauthorized data collection
  • Uploading viruses or malicious code
  • Interfering with Website functionality
  • Attempting to access restricted systems

Violations may result in account suspension.
